Advent 17 – Stir

Stir up in us O Lord:

the passion to embrace the stranger
the desire to love our enemy
the eye to find beauty in all your creation
the will to be a power for change
the hope for a world as you meant it to be

and

a good pot of soup to nourish our bodies and soul.
