I know that this is Advent and not Lent, but I have very recently taken up a daily discipline. I made a long overdue promise to myself to do something that is rather outside my comfort zone. I am making a dedicated effort to carve 20-30 minutes out of at least 5 days each week and dedicated it to physical activity—biking, stair climbing, or walking.
I made this promise to myself in hope of realizing the promise of a healthier life. (See what I did there??)
