Anticipation
As we begin our Advent journey, we do so with a sense of anticipation.
The anticipation is distinct to each of us:
looking forward to the snow and the change of season.
The anticipation is highly shared:
the onslaught of exterior extension cords.
The anticipation is nearly universal:
the longing for light to fight the incursion of darkness (both real and metaphoric).
